1994+ Dodge Ram Commonly Seen Automatic Transmission Problems

• 1999-2000 diesel - Delayed Upshift/No TCC Lock from 30-50 MPH, TSB 21-02-00

• Difficult to get out of park - Shift linkage binding
• Shift Position Indicator loose or indexed incorrectly - The indicator is a small loop of wire over a lever on the steering column. If the lever is bent, the indicator will be off. To correct the indicator, remove the screws that fasten the knee bolster in place below the dash, then bend the wire until the indicator is in the correct position.
