5 speed, 3.54 gears
purchased in North Carolina from Al Smith Dodge
Accessories & modifications
- front bumper: Brown's Welding (San Antonio, TX)
- Necessitated that the factory fog lights be removed,
I put them under the rear bumper as backup lights.
The bumper also makes a nice step for working on
the engine and checking oil.
- rear bumper: Brown's Welding - With wings to protect
the rear dually flares, they also serve as a nice
step for working in the bed.
- Dodge mud flaps
- Dodge running boards
- Dodge Tow hooks
- Blaupunkt CD player
"She serves my South Austin ranch
needs quite well"
The main reason for buying the rear bumper was those wings
to protect the flares. They have saved the body from more
than one cedar on the ranch. The bumper also did a very
thorough job on a Nissan Maxima that double-parked behind
me one day. Returning to my truck I did not see it at
all (my fault), backing out I was looking for traffic
not someone tucked under my bumper. The woman thought
she would only be in the store a minute.
