Here goes with the description,,,,, Purchased new in June of 92. 1992 Dodge/Cummins turbo Diesel, Aftercooled. W250. LE trim package. That's a 3/4 ton 4X4 long bed. As purchased the truck came with the 5sp manual, 3.54:1 gears and the rear axle came with a Power-Loc differential. SUSPENSION MODIFICATIONS: A 2" lift for the front from Skyjacker. This spring rides much softer than the original but has the same weight rating and more travel. The rear spring set is a 2" lift from National Spring with 14" of travel. Wheels and tyres: 35X12.50R16.5 BFG ATs mounted on 16.5x8.25 white spoke wagon wheels. The narrow width keeps the 16.5s on the bead at very low pressure. There has been "some" trimming of the front wheel well and opening to make room for the larger tires. NO body lift and No interference! 4.10:1 gears replaced the factory 3.54 and the addition of a Power-Loc to the front axle. A 2" spacer was added under the steering arm to keep the drag link angle at factory specs. The infamous factory Dodge steering linkage gave out at 30,000 miles and was replaced with a much better unit from Borgenson Universal Co. The bumpers and center support for the skid plate were fabricated and welded by me from 1/4" thick 4" square tubing. The rear bumper has a class III hitch welded underneath. After two trips to the Moab Easter Safari and numerous 4X4 trips here in Arizona the stock bed was looking pretty ragged. That was replaced with a diamond plate flatbed for single-axle from Knapheide. INTERIOR MODIFICATIONS: One of the first things I noticed was a lack of lateral support from the bench seat. A set of adjustable bucket seats and center console from Flow-Fit did the trick. I also added IssPro gauges for manifold pressure and exhaust gas temperature, and factory tach on top of the dash. The cheap Dodge stereo gave out and was replaced by a Radio Shack special. A Radio Shack SSB CB radio also lives in the cab. A Radio Shack gutter mount CB antenna is attached to the bulkhead -- nice because it can be folded down for low clearances. ENGINE MODIFICATIONS: The stock B5.9 diesel produced 160hp and 400 ft lbs torque. With a little adjustment of the pump; adding a Cummins performance muffler; replacing the exhaust pipe with a custom 4" diameter pipe, and swapping the stock turbo with a Gale Banks Quik-Turbo, the engine now produces 180 hp and 550 ft lbs torque. To provide quick air-up after runs and to run air tools I added a engine driven air pump from Redi-Air. PAINT: The factory paint started peeling several years ago and the truck will be repainted as soon as I can stop driving the truck for a couple of weeks. Thanks Steve Graham
