Vinyl J-channel used above the door for rain protection A short pieced of trimmed vinyl J-Channel (used for vinyl siding on houses) was glued to the top of the door using RTV silicone rubber. This piece catches rain that would otherwise drip from the door header and sends the water to the sides of the door.
Another piece of J-channel used at the roof line to deflect rain Another long piece of trimmed J-Channel was glued to the roof edge using RTV silicone rubber. This piece catches the roof runoff and sends the accumulated rain to the sides of the camper.
