Traveling north though the Brooks Range on
the Dalton Highway, we crossed Atigun Pass in a snowstorm. The road was
covered by 6" of new snow and we wanted to stop at the summit for a picture,
but NO STOPPING signs were posted in the pass. This photo was taken about
a mile north of the pass where the snow was only 2" deep.
